Student Aid Guides Now Available, Says Moul

Rep. Dan Moul (R-Adams/Franklin) would like to inform residents that the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) now has 2011-12 Student Aid Guides available.  The free publication contains Pennsylvania’s most comprehensive financial aid information, including facts on the federal student aid process and details on all of Pennsylvania’s aid programs, including the need-based State Grant.

Each high school counselor’s office will receive one printed copy of the guide with instructions on how to obtain additional copies.

Students and families are also encouraged to contact their high school about the availability of Financial Aid Nights during the fall.  PHEAA Regional Office financial aid experts facilitate these free informational programs as a way to provide a general overview of the student financial aid process and an opportunity to have individual questions answered.

The Student Aid Guides are available in print and online.  A limited number of copies will be available at Moul’s district office at 30 W. Middle Street, Gettysburg.  Visit Moul’s website at to obtain a copy of the guide.
