House members gathered for a Capitol news conference in support of House Bill 59 – the human services code bill to this year’s budget, which is sponsored by Rep. Dan Moul (R-Adams). Gov. Tom Wolf has threatened to veto the bill, which would establish work requirements for able-bodied individuals on Medical Assistance and preserve the continuity of care for the Pennsylvania’s most vulnerable citizens. The legislation also addresses the opioid crisis now gripping the Commonwealth.
