HARRISBURG – Rep. Dan Moul (R-Adams) announced today that Littlestown Area School District will receive grants totaling $1 million for infrastructure improvements through the Public School Facility Improvement Grant program, administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED).

On Tuesday, the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) approved a $500,000 grant for Alloway Creek Elementary School to replace its heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system and roof.

The CFA also approved a $500,000 grant for infrastructure improvements at Littlestown Area High School, including upgrading the HVAC system to add air conditioning, replacing windows with new ones that are more energy efficient and have more secure locking mechanisms and shatterproof glass.

“These grants will improve the learning environment in the classroom,” said Moul. “By improving school infrastructure, we preserve the integrity of our school buildings while enabling students to better concentrate on their studies.”
