Moul Says Deadline Near for PennDOT Winter Maintenance Jobs

Application deadline June 18; contact his office for assistance 

Rep. Dan Moul (R-Adams/Franklin) announced today that the deadline for applying for Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) winter maintenance jobs is drawing near and interested individuals should contact his office immediately for assistance. 

PennDOT will be hiring transportation equipment operators, mechanics, trades helpers, clerks and typists for temporary winter maintenance jobs that will run from this September through early April 2011.  Individuals must apply on line for these positions at   

“Anyone who lives in the 91st Legislative District and is interested in one of these positions should contact my office for assistance,” said Moul.   “It is important to act right away, however, as the application deadline is looming.  No applications will be accepted after June 18.”  

The 91st Legislative District includes the Adams County townships of Conewago, Cumberland, Franklin, Freedom, Germany, Hamiltonban, Highland, Liberty, Mount Joy, Mount Pleasant, Straban and Union, the boroughs of Arendtsville, Bonneauville, Carroll Valley, Fairfield, Gettysburg, Littlestown and McSherrystown, and the Franklin County townships of Guilford and Quincy.
